Our team pitched various iterations of the cover and following interior spreads. Out of 8 variations, mine was chosen for continued development. I worked closely with another student designer to flesh our front cover scene. I contributed to the surrounding environment, landscape, and ensured the design followed UCLA brand guidelines. Additionally, I implemented revisions from our CEO, who wanted to move towards a coastside approach Los Angeles is known for.
Deviating slightly from the regular Ubuntu font, the Annual Report utilizes Future PT. Page format and text layout was largely inspired by previous ASUCLA annual reports. To coincide with current design trends, I included cornered rectangles in our images and infographics.
To tie together the rest of Los Angeles with the cover, Additionally, I created the badges used throughout the Annual Report.
